Happy Friday Everyone!
To celebrate the weekend, we’ve chosen to feature a group of 4 French DJs called, “Birdy Nam Nam.” With the name aside, their music and shows are absolutely insane. If you don’t believe us, see for yourself in the videos below from Pukkelpop 2009 (Aug 20-22). The vids get progressively better with the last one of them performing “The Parachute Ending” produced by Justice and the crowd going nuts around 2:35.
FYI – Pukkelpop is an annual music festival which currently takes place in Kiewit, Belgium (close to Hasselt). With its inception in 1985, Pukkelpop has become one of the largest music festivals in the country with around 180,000 in attendance this year. Featuring major names spanning a vast musical divide including Bon Iver, Wilco, Busy P, Crookers, Booka Shade, The Bloody Beetroots, MSTRKRFT, Snow Patrol, Arctic Monkeys, Tocadisco, N.E.R.D. and yes, even 50 Cent (full 2009 lineup here)–rest assured that we will not be missing out on Pukkelpop 2010!
