As if the sweltering, 100-degree temperatures weren’t enough during the day for Lollapalooza on Sunday,the afterparty with MSTRKRFT, LA Riots and Dark Wave DJs happened to be at Bottom Lounge where it was so unbelievably hot, sweaty and stuffy that we nearly passed out from heat exhaustion. Imagine a small, ventilation-deprived warehouse packed with raging and soaking-wet Lolla-goers (who happened to be quite fragrant as well) where sweat condensation was dripping off of the pipes and ceiling as if it were raining indoors. Yeah…THAT’S how amazing MSTRKRFT was to have kept us in there rocking out until the end. The Canadian duo was unrelenting and ruthless–stopping at nothing to allow us to take a break for fear of missing them drop their next ridiculous beat. All in all, our dedication was definitely worth every gallon of water weight lost. So grab a towel and scope out some of the vids below!
